The Turnaround Vision

What will history say about We the People of 2026?

Two hundred and fifty years ago, our Founding Fathers declared that all men are created equal and endowed by our Creator with unalienable rights: Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.

Now the torch is in our hands. What will we do with it?

Believers, patriots, families and fellow countrymen across America— It is time for The Turnaround. It is time to pray, rebuild and accept our responsibility to pass the torch of faith and freedom to the next generation.

The Vision

A nation humbled before God, united in prayer, accepting responsibility, restored in vision, and prepared to carry faith from generation to generation. So let it be. Amen.

The Battle Cry of the Turnaround

The Turnaround is calling America to rebuild her first and most important wall—not a wall of stone, but a wall of faith: the Wall of God.

Have we forgotten what once united us and made us one nation? Our faith in Almighty God.

We must restore the love and knowledge of God at the Children’s Gate—for the children of our land and for generations yet unborn—and restore love and concern for our neighbor in this land of brotherhood.

“Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not.” Mark 10:14 (KJV)

Therefore, we make a new declaration. Two hundred and fifty years after the Declaration of Independence, We the People remember and reaffirm its enduring principles. We acknowledge again that all people are created equal and that our unalienable rights come from our Creator—not from government.

We pledge to cherish, steward, defend, and teach these transcendent truths. We uphold the Bible and the God of the Bible as the foundation of our faith and freedom. We will teach these truths to the children of our land, proclaim them in our communities, share them with our fellow countrymen, and faithfully pass the torch of faith from generation to generation.

The Battle Cry

Rebuilding the wall of God is our responsibility. This is our declaration. This marks the Turnaround. Let the Turnaround begin!

For Generations

We believe the greatest monument America can build for its 250th anniversary is not made of stone. It is a generation that remembers; a generation that knows God; a generation that understands liberty; a generation that recognizes the dignity of every person; and a generation prepared to receive the torch and courageous enough to carry it forward.

May fathers teach their sons. May mothers teach their daughters. May grandparents tell the stories. May communities remember. May one generation declare God’s works to another.

A Faithful Remnant

A faithful remnant can turn the tide of history: ordinary people who answer God’s call with humility, courage, consistency, and obedience. They pray when prayer is costly. They reconcile where division has hardened. They teach when truth has been forgotten. They serve when recognition is absent. And they keep the torch burning for those who come after them.

“Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established.” Proverbs 16:3 (KJV)

“A man’s heart deviseth his way: but the Lord directeth his steps.” Proverbs 16:9 (KJV)

Remnant Declaration

We may be few, but we are a powerful remnant. We will stand in the gap, rebuild what is broken, and prepare the way for those following after us.

America is turning 250. We the People of 2026—this is our moment. If we, as a nation, do not preserve our history, then who? If we do not turn our hearts to God, then when? Let us turn our hearts to God, rebuild America and carry the torch of faith, freedom and liberty, for generations yet unborn.

The Turnaround Declaration

What will we pass to the next generation? The Turnaround Declaration invites us to turn our hearts toward God, pray for our nation, and take responsibility for the faith and freedom entrusted to us. Marla Hill, founder of The Turnaround, brings together the movement’s vision and 52 days of Scripture, devotional reflections, and prayer from contributing pastors and leaders. Inspired by Nehemiah’s example, the journey calls us to begin with humility and repentance, stand together, and rebuild in our homes and communities. Alongside the daily readings, you’ll find the Declaration of Independence of 1776, The Turnaround’s 2026 rededication, the movement’s original declaration, and Marla’s “Our Destiny.” Together, they connect prayer with the responsibility to love our neighbors and teach the next generation. Read on your own, pray with your family, or invite a group to walk through the 52 days together. Then take the next step: read and sign The Turnaround Declaration, join the prayer journey, and help carry the torch of faith and freedom forward.
